With the new season comes a long list of items that I really need (okay, want) to help get me through the harsh winter months. You can catch up on the first part of my wish list from last week here.
I’ll admit that I’m not in a particularly committed relationship with any perfume right now. I flirt with Elie Saab and Chanel Allure but I definitely could be lead into temptation by a new, mysterious scent. I had a little sniff of the new Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume at the Debenhams press show a couple of weeks ago and it is pretty special. I’m a big fan of the original Marc Jacobs perfume as well as Daisy and Daisy Dream so it’s really no surprise that I love the new scent too.
I’m also obsessing over the new Greige Collection by Bobbi Brown.
The nail polishes are so wearable and oh so chic.
And this palette has got my name all over it. (Well, not literally obviously. It literally has Bobbi Brown’s name all over it) Anyway, they are the most delicious, wearable, flattering every day colours all in a cute little palette. In.Love!
The Biba accessories really caught my eye at the House of Fraser press show last month.
I love this gold make up bag. And roomy enough that you can actually fit more than a lipstick and a compact in it.
And these croc print designs look a LOT more expensive than they actually are. (And no actual crocodiles were harmed in the process.)
And yes, these white leather and rose gold headphone by Frends would probably end up covered in make-up/fake tan… but they’re sooooo pretty!
I’m a big fan of statement headwear and Bernstock Speirs really do the cutest but most luxurious hats!
This camel cashmere beanie hat will keep your head suitably toasty but the veil and metal bow bring all the drama to the party…
Speaking of practical but yet ridiculous winter attire, it’s probably no surprise that gloves are just another excuse for me to adorn myself in pom poms. Thank you River Island for encouraging my childish obsession.
My sister Louise is jetting off to sunny Dubai on Saturday. I’m not jealous in the slightest. Honest.
She has been given strict instructions to head straight to Victoria’s Secret to stock up on their excellent sports bras for me. She actually brought me a pink one back from Las Vegas last year and it is easily the best sports bra I’ve ever had. It has been washed about a million times and is still in really good condition. It’s also the most supportive sports bras and it doesn’t squash you down or give you a strange shape unlike a lot of other sports bras I’ve tried over the years. I really like the front zip fastening and bright colours too. The only annoying thing is that you can’t currently buy Victoria’s Secret online in the UK!
Gucci bags have improved so much in recent seasons and I love the iconic Soho Leather Disco bag in light tan. It’s the perfect neutral shade and is a great everyday size.
I used to love really chunky jewellery but over the last few years my style has changed and I now very rarely wear anything other than quite delicate and fine pieces. I adore Monica Vinader jewellery and celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Palermo and Rita Ora are all big fans of her designs.
As part of the Women for Women International’s She Inspires Me campaign, which celebrates women who inspire us from all over the world who do exceptional work and often go unrecognised, Monica Vinader has designed a beautiful #SheInspiresMe metallic and rose gold friendship bracelet to mark the occasion. You can have the bracelet engraved with a personal message on one side with #SheInspiresMe on the other side making them the perfect birthday present for a friend, mum or sister.
All of the profits go to Women for Women International who help, support and empower women who are survivors of war in some of the most dangerous countries in the world.
As long as my Autumn Wish List is, unfortunately I’m still in search of the perfect over-the-knee boots. I thought I’d found the perfect pair from ASOS only to find that they’ve sold out.
The search continues…
