I’ve Got This Thing About… Leather Skirts

My name is Victoria and I’m a leather skirt-aholic.

Yup, I have loads. In fact, there is no way I’m going to even count how many I actually own as I won’t be able to justify adding any new ones to my collection.

And so on… You get the point.

If you wish to take up an obsession with leather skirts like me, then you’ll be glad to hear that there are plenty of fab high street skirts around this season.

A few of my favourites from my current collection are from River Island and they don’t disappoint again this season. This brown mini will be perfect with chunky knitwear this winter.

River Island Brown Snake Print Pelmet Skirt, £28

And these pencil skirts look and feel so much more expensive than £32. I would definitely say that a black leather pencil skirt is one item that every woman should have in her wardrobe.

River Island Black Leather-Look Pencil Skirt, £32

Even although I have a really similar one from River Island, I also love this Zara faux leather skirt with zips. It’s perfect for wearing with a black polo neck, tights and boots.

Zara Faux Leather Skirt With Zips, £29.99

I LOVE this taupe skirt from Misguided and it looks great with the crisp white shirt…

Missguided Back Split Faux Leather Skirt, £20

This khaki skirt, again from Missguided is such a bargain at £15!

Gray & Willow are one of the new brands now available in House of Fraser this season and this grey leather skirt will never go out of style. It’s butter soft and perfect for pairing with other shades of grey. Perhaps not fifty but at least two or three.

Gray & Willow Nova Leather Skirt, £159 (House of Fraser)

This stone leather wrap detail skirt is unlike anything else I have so definite justification for purchasing.

ASOS Leather Wrap Pocket Detail Skirt, £95

The pocket detail is gorgeous too.

AND the split in the front will also make it far easier to tackle stairs.

Anyone else who wears leather pencil skirts will know the problem stairs pose.  I had a very near ripping incident really trying to get from the platform onto the train in a leather pencil skirt – not a good look.

Very funny but oh, so familiar…

So, to any of my fellow leather pencil skirt aficionados, I salute you. The struggle is REAL… but definitely worth the wiggle!
